What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Mine are all neatly filed in alphabetically arranged folders - one for each car. Mileage, MOT dates and the like are neatly drawn on each cover flap and they are colour coded to the car.

Don't ask me to remember grand-kid's ages or birthdays (names I can usually do 4/5) when the bin man comes, if there is milk in the fridge, water in the kettle before boiling or anything else domestic, financial or familial for that matter. I forgot to cook tea the other night and wondered why I was hungry at 8.30pm.....

Not far off the UK in some places but incomes are much lower in Greece though

Yeah but you live in the UK equivilant of Monaco where even pensioners run at least a Jag and a Merc. It's cheaper where us Skoda driving plebs live.

Fuck me, I'd better drive sensibly next time I'm down so I don't need too much to get home. Think I payed £1.81 at Sainsbury at the Willows in March for diesel.

I've all but curtailed pleasure motoring for the time being. By that I mean those nice summer evening drives through the Forest or taking the van down the beach for the day. Every journey has to have a purpose now.

£1.8? I don't look too close for E5 the other day when filling the 14.

The bolts that held the bumper garnish pieces were all loose (done up tight to the stop on the coach square but not deep enough to not rattle in the hole in the bumper).

I bought some washers and got them all done up nice.

I had to close the trunk twice because I thought it had caught on something. Nope, it doesn't close with a cymbal crash any more, just a nice solid clunk.

Downside is you can hear all the bumps rumbles and squeaks when you drive now.
