What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Hold on sandy beach in Weston ? I suppose it is a bit then it is the mud. They don't call it weston super mud for no reason. I haven't been out in Weston in ages but it is dying on it's arse the last few years. My other half lives in Worle and used to go out in town most Friday nights but it is deserted now even before covid. I have been going there for the last 15 odd years and they still haven't done anything with Birnbeck pier or the Tropicana. All they have done is made it a nightmare for anyone to park in town.

Aye, those Belgian's can supply tyres including postage for cheaper than anyone over here for some reason. As SiC says though, that will probably change after the acrimonious divorce settlement.

What I saved on the tyres I lost on the fitting though. My usual tyre man has sold up due to ill health and the new owner stung me for £18 a tyre to change  . Wish I had asked how much first.

Strewth, that's steep. Ever thought of getting your own changer and balancer?

Going for a walk without a dog feels totally wrong to me, I just can't do it.

Yeah the first 150m or so from the front is sand from Uphill to Marine Lake.

Tropicana is a Theme Park now. No idea if a permanent thing or not.

We went not long after lockdown and the front was heaving. Personally I prefer it when its quieter...

Never been out on the piss in Weston. No interest now but when I was more interested in getting plastered, I lived in Bristol and so zero point going to Weston or the like.

I have but they rarely go cheap second hand. I've changed tyres on the Land Rovers and the trailer with the tyre irons and not worried about balancing. It's not a fun job though.

Had the opportunity to, so sat outside on one of the few nights it's been pleasant to sit outside this year.
Bought a brake cylinder hone earlier today too.

I've been watching these working on steep, difficult ground in 3 feet of mud. Some machines.
