Replacement rear bumper now fitted to the Jag. Whilst by no means perfect it's tidied it up no end. After market reversing sensors have been colour matched and now just need bonding in. The bargain Jag is a lot neater now.
Must get round to putting back on its wheels though!-

Re: What did you do today?
I once had a killer back ache and no hot water bottle, lacking medicinal alcohol I resorted to wrapping an electric blanket up and holding it on my back.
What's the smell? Fuck me it's about to burst into flames - straight out of the window...

If Series LRs could produce enough electric it'd probably be good in one of them too.

Re: What did you do today?
Went to to Sainsbury's in the AMC again - 3c with the roof down.
Bottled it for the return trip though and left the roof up.
The heater is good
It's running well for a car with a fucked engine - these old US V8s will take a lot of abuse (except apparently the big block Chevies).

Re: What did you do today?
BTW Our Sainsbury's ANPR cameras don't read black plates with silver letters - meaning I could stay as long as I liked - in the unlikely event of me wanting to spend more than an absolute fucking minimum of time there.
If I go in the Disco a sign flashes up my reg on the way in and says I have 3 hours - but it doesn't work when I go in the AMC.

Re: What did you do today?
The ANPR cams throughout the New Forest don't recognise black plates either.....I've struggled to get out of car parks because of it and end up having to press the panic buttons. Annoying when I have already paid to get out....

Re: What did you do today?
I used to get my black and silver plates recognised most of the time back in 2004 at work. I'd see my reg as recognised on the list on the computer screen of the last 20 cars when I came into the security room.
Bastard car park at Dublin Airport Long term fails to read any plate half the time and I have to fanny around with the card used for payment to get the sodding barrier to lift.
