Ta for the button Eddie, the handbook isn't in it and I hadn't bothered with Google. I'd stupidity assumed the button would be within reach of the driver. I'll see what difference it makes on the way back late weds.
Well?
Much better, it's possible to drive smoothly in slow moving traffic with it switched off.
Aye, I thought you'd found it due to the lack of pissing and moaning about it since using it.
I hadn't even seen it Eddie, it's on the wrong side of the dash after all.
I've got everything indoors at home now. Nothing like sorted but it's in the house or garage, roughly as required. That'll do for now as I'm fucked after several days of lugging stuff about. Oh & while I was down my mum's I also fixed the central locking on her car, got her bike running as it'd sat for months, fitted a couple of extra plug sockets in the front room and something else I've forgotten.

That's because you DIDN'T USE YOUR EYEBALLS!

it's totally out of the driver's line of sight! I'd dismissed that side of the dash without looking as it appears to be where they'd put the buttons on a LHD version.
It's obviously deliberate to hide it over there, as there's a blank on the driver's side near the traction control & driving mode where it'd be logical to put it.

You assumed there wasn't one as you didn't use your EYEBALLS. It is logically put that side (the LHD one has it t'other side) to discourage GLASS-BACK MACAQUE SHAGGERS turning it off every ignition cycle!
Then they're doing it wrong. The system should work better than that.
I'll have to record my truck on a start cycle. It's running and ready to go by the time you've taken your foot off the brake and are on the accelerator.

Have I told you to fuck off for being a cunt yet today?
