Re: What did you do today?
Yep got the memo about that, lack of Interstate communications is staggering, you would have thought it would be on one centrally accessible database. If you get stopped in Texas with an Ohio registered vehicle do they have to ring the Ohio DMV to check your license etc?
Re: What did you do today?
I'm going to guess they go off the physical licence but will check if you have active warrants that Texas would bother doing something about. But that may include your licence being suspended. i.e. it is a check for something being wrong, not confirming something is right.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Sat Feb 22, 2020 3:18 pm Yep got the memo about that, lack of Interstate communications is staggering, you would have thought it would be on one centrally accessible database. It'll make it to Monday, the rain stopped play on Thursday, hopefully it'll be OK Monday.

Re: What did you do today?
Went to a couple of auctions.
Morris Leslie classic car auction at Errol first.
Disappointing selection on sale and most of it didn't meet the reserve.
This fiat drew the eye, but was rough as hell. It did come with a c90 of manic street preachers. A roller with a scrawled warning of No Brakes! on the rearview mirror.

When one is driving one's Royce, the peasants move out of one's way so there is no need for braking systems to interrupt the dignified progress.

Re: What did you do today?
Thought about surprising the wife with this
Can see me getting myself a wee Austin A30 at some point Must be a barn find. Check out that authentic dust This Mazda was nice. Guide price of 5k WTF?
Got a work light from the car boot sale and a couple of Haynes manuals from saabnut off the beige, so wasn't a complete waste of time.
I did buy a motorised conveyance. Not at Morris Leslie's though.
