What did you do today?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

It's a good motor with full history. All belts and stuff done. Flies as well.

I'd change the weather to spring first.

The engine is some PSA junk, also used in some Jags. On the Disco Very, the body has to be lifted off the chassis to replace the turbos. Just rubbish.

This is common. They either just snap or they snap as they seize. This is due to the main bearing shells turning in the block and blocking the oil way. Proper shite. It is matched by the Subaru boxer diesel, an engine so bad it is unfit for purpose.

Ahh quality modern cars, that's why we should all buy them rather than old ones that breakdown.

50 miles round the Forest in the Cowley today. Main roads full of twats but once off into the B roads and beyond it was nice, some of the heathland bits were deserted. Very nice for the soul and prepared me for tomorrow - not a day I relish, to be honest. Boxing day car meet is cancelled owing to a strange virus that only infects people doing things they enjoy so it's beer, pork products and loud rock and roll for the foreseeable few days......

That sounds ideal. It's too cold to do much outside now anyway before your fingers end up going numb.
