Watched a Disco 2 die this morning......A31 westbound. There was a lorry on a hill, I went into Lane 2 just before the descent and as the upward slope began the LR moves across in front of me and wellies it. Big bang, huge cloud of smoke and I back off to let him back into Lane 1 on his way to the shoulder of shame.

Took 5 whole miles to get the stench of his last horrible diesel-ridden breath out of my car, though.....

I believe the 'new' Discoveries (actually up to 10 years or more old now) with the TDV6 fail in equally spectacular manner. Engines grenading are one element of other people's misfortune I very conspicuously laugh at.
