What else occurred, well it went to France and back twice. In its first 4 months with me it did 8000 faultless boring miles, most at 70+. The juddery clutch still judders, the cambelt is still all roulettey and its had 2 oil changes and actually looks clean now.
The glowplug light flashes a bit too much but ill hold off the £13 for a set until winter as that's when I can guarantee rain running down my back the best.

I ran it for a month or 2 but then offered it on the beige for removemycar price plus about £20. Not great for me when I bought it for £700 6 months previously, but I could not in any way be arsed with trying to sell a car with declared faults to the public.

The most honest car purchase I have every made, genuinely restored my faith in humanity.

Then the boot lock switch thing died, but I had a few old computers in stock so its power switch was donated.

June splashed out on a clutch kit for £40 delivered although it isn't slipping it feels different?? maybe its my arthritic knees. Either way total just hit £629.72 or for June assuming no other bits fall off £65.12pm. Still smashing the white Gay180 I could've saddled myself with.

Long time no updates on account of it just working. I fitted a towbar and pulled a trailer over to the French house, and am currently sat in misery central waiting on a set of their finest Chinese ditchfinders.
The scores on the doors for are.
Jan 20, 4 tyres £131.20 rovello quality. Seem quiet enough but feel like they need pumping up a bit more. I’ll check them in the morning.
Total £770.92 - £239 = £481.92/13 £37.07pm
In context the cheapest 28 day bus pass in Manchester area is £68 granted I wouldn’t have to fuel the bus.
The MOT is also due so I’m obviously committed myself to it for another year at least.
