Stupid questions about motorised conveyances

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

Can a classic Mini shell fit in a Transit Luton van?

Presumably not in a medium base Transit? (I'm not old enough to drive a LWB on my licence automatically)

Also, how much does a shell weight? I.e. can two people lift it easily?

4 people can easily lift an MGBGT shell.
What are you limited to with your licence? I thought you had upto 7.5t and towing rights back again?

Eddie will probably correct me but I believe it's only up to 3.5t vehicle on a 7.5t vehicle train on post 1997. Didn't get the (non commercial?) 7.5t vehicle entitlement.

No C1 freebie. But you can skip C1/C and go straight to CE.

BE freebie is 3.5T puller + 3.5T trailer = 7.0 GTW

Get a car trailer and get it bought.

Nope all lwb 3.5t gross the only bigger ones are the 460 spec ones that were special order for the police and you'll never find one of those that hasn't been downplated to avoid tacho operators license problems etc
