This was years back when I used to help out on occasion at my mates garage, I used to use the pump he had lay about that he used to drain dead cars of their fuel. I found it to be very handy when diagnosing certain faults.Eddie Honda wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 11:51 amWhat happened to the used one???Scruffy Bodger wrote: ↑Sun Aug 14, 2022 10:58 amCan you just stick any old inline pump in the engine bay to get yourself going again? I've done that in the past to prove it was a faulty pump before removing it and the engine ran fine.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Sat Aug 13, 2022 9:26 pm No problem, currently stuck away from home until rock auto deliver me a petrol pump so won't be able to look for a few days

I got a very cheap polishing kit from somewhere when I did my SAAB, can't remember where. Wasn't a headlight one, just a normal polishing mop about 2" across.
