Slow. Builders are now 200% over their estimate date. Got until the 22nd here and then I'm forced to be back at the house. Trying to get them interested in finishing the work.

What happened was the company who hired then found out the foreman was gaslighting and fired him and his entire crew.
So all the plans, details, layouts etc we had discussed disappeared with that foreman.
Not particularly happy about that.

That's pretty crappy, is the place you are in at the moment no longer available after that date? Can't see what difference it makes if the crew were doing a bit of their own work as long as it wasn't on the firm's time, seems a stupid decision to sack m that has now made the firm look bad

Replaced the missing screws, and now the carburetor is one whole piece again the car runs a fair bit better. Funny, that.
