I really hope in the manufacturers original service schedule there was an entry regarding cleaning and lubricating the clock mechanism!

Nope, and that's why people who had the cars at the time said they recalled the clock to be the first thing to quit working in most GM vehicles.

This one gained about 2 minutes overnight so that's a good sign. I need to go tweak the regulator back a touch towards SLOW.

Brand new valve block.

Gummed up solid with storage oil, need to figure best way to free it all up.

Not 70 as it turns out. Upon taking it apart or is evident it's not New Old Stock. However, it is a factory rebuild so all the moving parts are new. So that's good enough.

It was in Ohio. Weird as it may seem.
