Just looking back at some old pics as I couldn't remember when I first started work on this thing. That one is from October 2017 so that bit must have been done for the MOT in November 2016. I've since got him to re-MOT it in the summer to save me working on it outside in the freezing wind and rain. So basically he's had another 5 1/2 years out of it so far since it would have been scrapped :D

It's only done 124K now.

Typical dancing tail lights due to water ingress and shitty connections, cleaned everything up and succeeded in sweet FA. Side lights on drivers side were working according to the owner, nothing, checked the front one, nothing, blown fuse, that explains that then.
Ended up drilling both rear corners and running supplementary earth's as I don't know where the main earth points are buried.

Everything working happily now so fingers crossed it stays that way for a bit.

Drivers window mechanism replaced too so summer air con now working too.

Matt got a bit* carried away with the fibreglass in the arches.

There's also something afoot with the murder van, do I need to keep a closer eye on him? 🤔😮🤣

Fucking uploader

I also changed the drivers window mechanism last week. The battery clamp had dissolved so part of the old mechanism was donated to the cause.
Then the welder started playing up. I thought it was the shitty undercoated and painted steel mixed with the galv tin I was using. The tip was dragging like fuck too. Only the second time this thing has ever played me up. Half an hour of fucking about and a new tip and back to the usual
It appears this thing is also going with the Chapman philosophy and making itself lighter as the rear step fell off the other day. Need more metal

Chapman not only made it lighter , he'd make it do two jobs...
