Yep, got it in one. I've found a listing for half a metre of all thread on Ebay, maybe just stud it and get a load of nuts? I could soon cut some and trim them up with a grinder. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/271958964215

My Suzuki uses M7 for the cam cover bolts, bloody daft size as you say.

Have you tried somewhere like https://www.bapp.co.uk/ ? Just google for fastenings suppliers to find a local one for you lot.

I tried various searches lately but Google is sadly not what it was it seems. Even when trying to search something as specific as an M7 bolt it's constantly coming up with results for M6 and M8 stuff, even adding steel into the search term doesn't get rid of all the Titanium stuff it keeps pushing at you, twats!

Does it need to be a hex head?

Ta. I'd found those but baulked at the cost. I'd suggested replacing them all to do a better job of things, then you just need the one tool to undo them all. I'm not sure if there's clearance for a standard hex head, the ones in there now are all torx type but outies instead of innies. Same ones as fitted to some BMW and Bini stuff but these are longer.

What? They're less than ⅕ the price of MB at £1.81each

It's because I'm used to buying in bolts at this sort of price https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/160905836298 ... Sw1kxdjzHH  20 for less than 4 quid in A2 stainless posted!
