You want to get some insulation into that granny annex! I thought the biggest you could get from a normal supply was 35kw
Baxi do a 40kw combi or did anyway. I think I can work on up to 70kw on my domestic tickets. After that you have to have commercial tickets iirc.
I remeber asking when doing my course what would happen if I fitted two 40kw combis in the same house he didn't know the answer.

A bit like Isadora Duncan but with balls rather than a scarf?

"Her silk scarf, draped around her neck, became entangled around the open-spoked wheels and rear axle, pulling her from the open car and breaking her neck."

Probably less attractive though, unless you like that sort of thing.

I think in the bottom picture his balls are streaming behind him which is why you can't see them.

Picture of perplexing nut while the uploaded is working.

I've just been to see the garage about the MGB and it was being worked on as I got there. I need to order a rubber for the carb to air filter housing as its gone awol.

I also popped to the farm where we store the cars to look for some Wago connectors and it appears my old man has bought a sight unseen runaround after the dancing on ice debacle with the 350Z.

It looks bloody tidy underneath, seats look like new. Definitely a candidate to get treated properly to stop it rotting out.

He's had one in the past for work, doing up to 175 miles a day in it but doing 55k in it between oil changes didn't do it much good...

I finally drove the Terios yesterday, it's been parked up but picked the old man up from the airport yesterday and he grabbed the keys.

Verdict.

It's too fucking good for him to wreck. It's got 28K on the clocks and starts, runs and drives like a new car.

I've SORN'd the SRDT after parking the Inastate up for a bit. I shouldn't use it in the winter really but it's nice to tat about in. I really need to pull my finger out with the other one. The sunroof is still fucked and rattling like a bastard, it's really getting on my tits now. The gear knob has totally disintegrated, the screenwashers have packed up, the speakers have disintegrated etc etc.

Not much to report. The MG is still at the garage as far as I know. The 350Z has just been pressed back into service and it turns out the Terios has AC and the old man reports it works really well too!

Meanwhile the 405 is still doing its job as a small van/skip. My builder mates ultra lwb Sprinter was poorly yet again so I chauffeured him to work for a couple of weeks. I think I've done about 8k miles in it now?

Definitely lowering the tone at that particular house!

If anyone reading this has a sunroof that's fucked or not I can make a working one out of for reasonable money please get in touch. I can get hold of one for a phase 2 but he wants 120 quid for it, I don't really want to stretch to that on a car that was 700 quid with 12 months ticket on it.

I'd disagree as I've seen some right wrecks owned by people who live in such houses.
Compared to them your Pug looks to be a minter.

It's a 10 footer tbh, dinks all over it, bits of missing paint where bird shit has been left on it in the distant past and a bit of a scrape on the rear corner. Just been on Ebay and someone is asking more than I paid for this for a tatty estate that needs recommissioning, they need to give their head a wobble, estates are practically worthless, no-one wants them.

I know what you mean tho about some of the more eccentric, rich types, they don't care about such things. I did a bit for an heir of the Wedgewood dynasty some time back and his Sisley 4x4 farm car was absolutely hanging, I still wanted it.

For various, mainly historical, reasons we have a few of them around here, usually wearing a well worn, well patched old jacket. You normally see them in a knackered Aldi A6 estate and then very occasionally in a mint DB5 or Healey 3000.

(Just to try and preempt Eddie, Paul et.al. not Roomsters, T2s or MGBs).
