Always up for meeting up either like minded oddities. Hell I've met Paul the plumber ( thoroughly sound bloke, highly recommend a pint on a camp site) and hooli. (Bald guy, looks like his head is on upside down, famous for throwing his phone down an alps mountain pass, crashing into barriers on the right hand side of road on left handers and sucking off gibbons.)Scruffy Bodger wrote: ↑Tue Jan 04, 2022 12:27 pmLol, same here mate. Plenty of good views round here too and the people are friendly enough too on the whole. I've worked in Matlock many moons ago and visited a couple of times I think? IIRC the sunroof will be somewhere round the Doncaster area but probably wrong.

Dodgy Tom/CLINT is local as is Catsinthewelder, even Nibblet passes by on occasion, do you do trades? Plumbers are even harder to find round here, West Mids Safari park is 15 mins away so we're OK for monkeys

It's like the league of gentlemen round here.
As I suspected I was right about everything.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
One of the buttons was stuck too but some of that magic switch cleaner and some poking with a blade got it sorted and the battery contacts look much better.
The other does trigger the central locking on the car but somethings not right as it immediately locks itself, typical old pug games. I'll have to try lubricating all the locks thoroughly and see if that sorts it. I also need a replacement rubber lion for the other key.

Re: 405 Quasar Estate
it seems they do! I was hoping to not spend quite that much
I also put the V50 to work again earlier. My mate let me down and I had 3 fucking logs left Everyone's booked with this cold snap so had to go and get some myself from a new contact. 40 quid gone but I won't be cold tonight
It's got 3 months ticket left on it. Really not sure what to value it at when the others ready with the issues it's got.
