My mk1 eyeball says 063.

My eyeball can't see height either

It's actually a 027, which is 190 tall and a wee bit longer than an 063

It's actually the same as what is in my 306 cab and from the numbers on the top of it, a bog-standard version:

I bought a 36mm spanner once, it was 20 quid in Halfords (possibly North Shields) and sitting at the back of a cabinet. I needed something similar to 1-3/8" AF to do a gearbox extension shaft with.

Who's the fool when there's an Eddie to do the data entry and googling for you 😄

I did see on Tayna it's said that they specified a 027 but wasn't entirely convinced.

I've got a 063 of reasonable vintage that came in my MGB but I changed over to something else but kept charged. Currently in the Moggie but probably more useful in here. A bit on the small side both in physical and capacity but I think it'll work. Probably more capacity than what's in it now.

BMWs bloody everywhere.

Going into the office today so drove in to the P&R. Seems to run fine and wasn't noticeably tappy. Not sure if it's my imagination but it felt a bit rumbly. Probably just me getting used to it.

Needs the wheel alignment sorting. Not horrifically out but under power it does pull more noticeably to one side. I'll get the suspension work done first before having that sorted though.

That's when the tape measure comes out to confirm. Then cram in largest battery to trayage available.

BMs in a P&R? I thought they just went straight to the shop they want and double parked with the hazards on.

Weird one this evening. Pulling out of the car park and accelerated off. Hard but not WOT. Traction control light blinked away. Changed gear. Traction control light still flashing. Eased off completely. Still flashing. Tried accelerating and it barely let me. Disabled the traction control and everything back to normal.

Tried re-enabling it and booting it. TC light didn't come back on again.

When I first test drove it, it did the same thing when first pulling off. Is this a quirk when cold?

My first thought is pickup rings but braking doesn't trigger the ABS and it only has happened when first pulling off. Plus as it has TPMS, I'd have thought that would have likely triggered too?

Mine did it on a test drive when Robson2032 came to buy it. He still bought it and he said it turned out to be a wheel sensor. £60 iirc.

If the wheel sensor is marginal or the connection to it grimy, the amplifier will have issues.

Makes me wonder if the logic deals with all 4 wheels, if a rear sensor will send the traction control into a frenzy...
