Agila saying hello.

"Hello".

Some may know me, most won't. I'm just a bloke from Doncaster who currently has a Saab 9-5, lexus rx 350 and merc slk (all old, I'm not made of money you know)

Nothing much to say apart from "I am not a spy" but that is what a spy would say I suppose.

What needs to be done so I can spy... I mean see other parts of the forum? I can only see the intro and the other 24 hour thread.

Apparently I joined in November last year and have clearly been prolific since then.

Anyway we'll see what happens, hope to see some quality threads and see if it's for me.

Cheers.

Ignore the posting thing. I've read the rules now and it should open up once I've posted.

*it works, hurrah. Off for a read now. Cheers for adding me.

Afternoon from another Doncasterite who used to have a 9-5, so if you ever need a rad for an auto petrol turbo.... I've got one.

Enjoy yourself & have a look around.

Cheers. It's exactly that, auto, petrol, turbo. Apparently it's a "stage 3" 2.3t aero hot. Full stainless exhaust, noobtune mapped, 3.5 bar fuel pressure regulator. Alleged 300bhp, which it seems believable.

Mine was a standard 2.3t and wasn't slow. I bet yours is fun.

It's fun the same way as being chased by a big angry dog is.

It's very aggressive and wild.

The throttle response is brutal. I think it's all down to the mapping. Peak power isn't much more than a v70 t5 250 bhp I had. This Saab would destroy it though.

The rest of the car is quite dull, comfy and hides the speed really really well. Quite big mph feels like nothing. The fwd, chassis and suspension doesn't match the power though.

Not a bad motor for £1700 that I gave for it in px.
