Similar, but I think a bit less rounded. If they're actual CIBIE lamps they're worth something though.
I bought £35 knock offs, because cheap.
Actually looks decent, very "of it's time" in terms of mods.

I passed my RAF driving test in a Moggie traveller. Great little cars, I've always had an affection for them. Well bought chap.

That looks decent TBH, white spoke wellers too. These are actually growing on me rapidly along with the 100e, mine would end up with the mildy rodded in the 70s/ 80s and left in a barn look though!
Hope is an easy job to get running and it isn't too crispy underneath.
Would you take £500 for the plate when it's done then?

I think the plate is glued to that now.....No way the DVLA will accept that car as the age of the VIN plate. Can be done (I may* have been complicit in the use of an A60 for such purposes in the early part of this century) but you need some good mates.
Plate looks good on the car, nice round-cornered proper Minor bootlid plate - I'd be happy with that, TBH.

Re: Morris Minor Ratrod
Yeah leave the plate on it.
Don't chop it enough to attract unwanted VOSA attention or if you do don't broadcast it on the Internet and you'll be fine but plate raping it might attract more scrutiny that you'd like depending on your plans for the car.
I'd be tempted to see if you can fine some "period" hop up stuff on it perhaps from the same stable..seem to remember MGB gubbins can be made to work in these without too much hacking and fabrication..if that's the route you wanted to take.

Or just thrash the nuts off what's in it. Haven't killed mine yet! Most Minor fun occurs at sub-60MPH so the inverse proportion of pleasure-to-pounds definitely applies with these!

Re: Morris Minor Ratrod
This is the picture I took of the engine bay when I bought it. Haven't actually opened the bonnet today!
Anyhow, you'll notice the funny shaped free flowing exhaust and the single large carb. So I think it's been tinkered with.
There is a Dyno down the road in a garage that specialises in A-Series Mini racing. I'll probably give it a run down there once on the road to see how much power it's generating and allow them to give the carb a good tune-up.
Hopefully there is a bit more show inside the lump too, not just the fancy exhaust and big carb.

Hmmm...no servo or underbonnet reservoir. Be interested to know how the extra fluid that discs need is handled....
