Re: Morris Minor Ratrod
Yeah square fogs may go. They look a bit perilous there with modern speed bumps.
Aren't they the ones that Cap70 had to spend a lot of money to replace the broken ones on his Acclaim?
Reliant mirrors I might actually keep
Front wheels are 13s, rears are 14s.
Definitely has front discs.

Re: Morris Minor Ratrod
Honest Merc's appraisal of the MMR.....
Mirrors look as shit as they would affixed to a mobility scooter. Flog the square lamps.
Don't even think about the identity of the car any more - you have the V5, you have the car, you have the reg. Job done.
It is one of those "is what it is" cars. Nothing that can be criticised will prevent it being as enjoyable as any other Minor to own and drive. You also have the advantage of "blank sheet" - nothing can be done to the car that will harm its value or originality and that is a massively cathartic benefit.
Look forward to more news!

Re: Morris Minor Ratrod
It may be. However, it is also every inch a Minor the way they were always used and enjoyed since I can remember. Well, at least before the garden chair, polish and club polo shirt lot got involved.

Re: Morris Minor Ratrod
Someone has said on FB that apparently it's a Van/Pickup bonnet on it. Are these larger/taller?
More room for a supercharger if so

You may not approve but Mrs SiC wants to paint it - likely Old English White. It'll either be brushed or rollered. Do have a compressor so should use that, but don't want everything else painted too.

Re: Shit heap collection
I would have loved if it was but alas it's not. However at least there is no rotten wood to replace. For my one and half bags including all spares, I don't think I'd got a Traveller.
To be fair, I've spammed so many on here, I'm not surprised people have got lost on what I was getting.
