I'm not sure you missed much if that lot have been messing with it, though.....NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:27 pm Kicking myself for missing out on the Practical Classics 3500 Auto auctioned at the NEC today.
Yeap cars that have been through their hands are rarely any good and it certainly isn't a selling point for me. The Renault 18 I had has some terrible bodges on it.mercrocker wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 5:08 pmI'm not sure you missed much if that lot have been messing with it, though.....NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:27 pm Kicking myself for missing out on the Practical Classics 3500 Auto auctioned at the NEC today.
Let me know what you think of the show. I was thinking about going this year, but it’s expensive and I just couldn’t be arsed in the end. Anything with Practical Classics in the title puts me off straight away.NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:27 pm Kicking myself for missing out on the Practical Classics 3500 Auto auctioned at the NEC today. Guided at £5-7k and sounded OK. It was Lot 1 and proceeds to charity. Fucker only made £4125 even with premium that’s a cheap car. I’m going to the NEC tomorrow but apart from a load of scrap Range Rovers there’s nothing in tomorrows action I fancy anywhere near my budget.
I’ve never been to this show before but my Mrs got me tickets for my birthday to help me choose the classic car that’s to be my proper present. I’ve narrowed it down to a P6, Triumph 2000/2.5.
Or a Jag or a Granada. Or an MG Magnette or. Singer Vogue or a, or a ……
I know someone (who's on AS but I'm not mentioning names) who bought a Volvo Amazon that was "freshly" finished by PC. Biggest bodged up turd he has ever owned.NorfolkNWeigh wrote: ↑Sat Mar 23, 2024 4:27 pm Kicking myself for missing out on the Practical Classics 3500 Auto auctioned at the NEC today.
