Do you have a "bogey brand"?

Do you have a bogey brand or model of vehicle? A marque or model that just somehow doesn't sit well with you for whatever reason.

Mine is DAF cars. One theft and one fire. Much as I like them, I am loathe to get another as they don't seem to have happy endings under my custodianship. How do I resolve this bad luck. Should I invite the local priest round to perform some sort of exorcism? Do you think a Volvo 66 might be the safer?

I never had much luck with Minis. Great fun but none of them ended well.....

I've always found reasons not to buy them since even though I've wanted them enough to go and look at.

I wonder if the bogey extends to Riley/Wolseley ones?

BMW, I have never been able to buy one.
I tried to buy a 2002 touring, but when viewing it the divorcing couple who were selling it kicked off a huge row, so I walked away.
Another time it was a Baur convertible, that time I thought I had agreed a deal, but it got sold to someone else.
Another was a 1602, which got sold to someone else while I was on my way to see it.
I looked at buying a new 3 series in the late 80s, I couldn't find a dealer who took me seriously, so bought another Morgan instead.
When the 3 series compact came out I fancied one, again the local dealers weren't interested in letting me try one and when I did finally get a look at one realised that the boot wasn't really big enough for the dogs so went for another Volvo estate.
The ones I have driven have always been OK, but I still haven't bought one.

Probably a lucky escape, everything that goes wrong with them seems to be expensive, from what I hear.
