Re: 1966 Plymouth Fury 3
I decided to move in another mechanical direction (mostly because that means I'm not doing welding) and bought the brake master distribution block for a '68 Polara. Dual circuit brakes.

My first thought was there's some blue vehicles bought by people with no friends who'll never carry passengers.

A day of hammers, welding, grinders and blisters.
But, got a good portion of this welded in.
Phil
Halfway through my welder decided that 45 amp wasn't what it should be doing and started running at probably 150 amp and wire feed at 15 mph. It then popped the breaker. But, got a good portion of this welded in.

Turned out acceptable.
The most useful tool so far has been the die bender. Glad I bought it.Phil

Re: 1966 Plymouth Fury 3
Now that the polar vortex has disappeared, I went look in the radiator which had been dry for a week. An unpleasantly large volume of brown sludge was sat in the top, so I added some dishwashing soap, filled the water back up and ran it until it boiled.
Phil
Blorp. Much brown water being evacuated. Flushed it out throughly and that seems to have done the trick.
Just water right now, need to get some proper antifreeze to stop the thing from rusting up again.Phil
