Ok,so I rejected, he increased, I rejected.
He has until 15th to pay, in full- or its legals.
It’s just not about the money anymore.

He settled, in full, today. That ends the process.
The car is now with another body shop - who seem to be acting properly! I’ll be keeping a close eye.
Should be ready for the boss in time for Spring. Hopefully
