They have nothing of value and assume everything on sale should be shifted into their price range.
After a kitchen makeover I had a two year old builtin oven/Grille and a ceramic hob I didnt need.
The hob cleaned up to as new, wanted £30, Took a tenner after a sob story, buyer collected a new shiny car.
The oven was a mong magnet, it was pictured in the garden on top of the evicted cabinet it used to live in.
"Can I come and test it ?" No
"Can I rent it from you at £5/Month" No
"Can you deliver, fit and provide a test certificate" No, No and thrice Fuck off
I dropped the price to a pound on the Oven and added "Free if you can collect now"
Updated to a picture of it in the metal skip, one of them reported me to Gumtree who binned the advert!
As for the Radio, put it up to £50 and offer to take £30.
Point out the cheapest one on Ebay is £50, I suspect he already knows this and plans to flip it onwards.
