United States of GRIZZ - Just how random do you want it?

Talk about your cars etc here. Keep it sort of sensible and on topic please.

My missus has a bag like that but it clips into a standard trolley rather than a custom one as is shown here; it works really well.

Scan as you shop is the process. Grab a handheld at the start and zap away as you go round.

I love innovation.

I must say, that never crossed my mind.

My brother was in the Engineering Corps for over 41 years.

I have seen him move shit about. Including doubly articulated trucks and trailers.

The boy is good.

Never used one.

How do they know people don’t cheat.

(Based on the amount of times I see people eating stuff or drinking and shoving the wrappers into an aisle shelf.

Yup…… I follow, watch and fucking hate them.

Thieves who cause shops to increase prices defensively to cover for shrinkage, rather than prosecute.

Well it seems spring is here.

The Rapeseed Canola is already in flower.

Time for pretty car pictures.

But also started my yearly 6 months of non sedative antihistamine

Went looking for my left over pills from last year as I start on them and get a repeat prescription which unfortunately takes up to 5 days. NHS at it’s most efficient.

I rediscovered a steering wheel that I bought from mate Darren about 8 years ago for a big wad of cash.

And tried out some checkered vinyl in the rear. This used to be fitted to my 1963 Ford Transit van.

I don’t think so.

Conversely, the steering wheel has still got the same appeal.

For the C10.

Been a busy week.

Not a lot to show, but certainly productive.

Weather still is not done with winter.

Last night rain and wind.

Thankfully moved the van by 18.00

Woke to this today.

The neighbours own that fence, thus responsible for replacing it. However, they sold or are trying to sell the house so no interest in spending money on anything.

Good Friday.

Public holiday in England.

Lots to do today.

Only used one once, took longer than doing it another way. I can count in my head when I go round so haven't used it again.

No idea.

Eating stuff in the shop boils my piss. Crap parents allow it to happen (I don't care if you pay for it eventually at the till - your whining poo machine can fucking well wait). Restaurants/cafes are for that carry on. I never ate in a supermarket until paid and outside.

Not directly the shop's fault when the (not very) long arm of the law doesn't go after junkies for nicking less than £200. I'm sure they'd bother calling the plod if the justice system actually did anything.

They watch and guess, just like they do with self-service checkouts.

Tesco, you have to be a clubcard holder. They add:
What is a service check?
From time to time, the Scan as you Shop system will prompt us to check a few products at random in a customer's trolley. This is to make sure everything's working as it should be and that you're being charged the right amount. Occasionally, if we suspect there's a problem, we may need to rescan all of your shopping. Don't worry. If this happens to you, one of our Customer Assistants will be on hand to help.

How often will I get service checked?
We'll service check you the first time you use Scan as you Shop, just to find out how you got on and answer any questions you might have. After that, service checks are occasional.
