Many valet keys don't allow the trunk to be opened and higher performance cars they limit performance. Primarily aimed at the USA market where they would drive a car to the front of an establishment (like a hotel, casino, etc) and the valet guy would be responsible for moving it to a car park space. Hence you don't want them smashing your fast car into something and/or nicking your property.

I have some pals ( a couple) who took me out in their new to them Fabia. They asked me to show them where the foglight switch was and were surprised when I told them their car had air conditioning.
We share the roads with these twats.

A mate had that option in his ZX, it turned out you could simply pull off the whole cover on the centre of the steering wheel and stick your weed in there, definitely an advantage for the non air bag models.

He also had a Passat, must have had it 12 maybe 18 months? Ended up on a road trip with another lad and at some point in he took over driving. Question " what do these buttons on the steering wheel do Russ? Answer "No fucking idea m8 I've never pressed them"

It turned out the otherwise povvo spec car had cruise control. He spent the next 3 months driving the bloody thing everywhere without using the throttle the lazy git

My W reg movano had a removable steering wheel centre. I used to stash not incosiderable amounts of cash under it. Good job it was never stolen.
It was broken into once and I chased two scrotes down the street. One had my b&d jigsaw and the other had my screwbox. Stupid cunts. There was tons of more valuable stuff in there.

My Lancer has one of those, hidden under the front passenger seat.
It pops into the rear passenger footwell under acceleration and puts itself away under braking, they think of everything these Japanese.
I think the unit is probably supposed to be fitted somewhere else but it still works where it is.

Being Japanese the fuel gauge has an arrow to tell you which side the filler is

The head rest pads used in Ford A Frame head restraints are great for storing drugs inside. Or so I've heard.
