Bloke in the social club we used to belong to (it is flats now....) collared me to deliver him a Vectra C bought off a neighbour whilst he was "between" licences. Due to circumstances I ended up with it for a few days before he could have it. I was pleasantly surprised.....

Renault 9TL. Brother took it in part exchange for his XR4x4 when he bought a V12 XJS. Renault was a lovely comfy economical car.

We had a 9 on the fleet where I used to work, giffer spec metallic brown with, IIRC, gold cloth interior. Never drove it but it stays in my memory as we were going through yet another take-over at the time. The Neuf had come from another part of the company and the manager it was allocated to under the new regime proper threw his toys out when he clapped eyes on it and it sat in the pool car park with the keys locked in the Admin Manager's desk before going off to auction.

The Yugo 45 van that the naughty bailiff of the week was forced to use was much better than I thought it'd be.

Unfortunately the accelerator pedal is unusually far away and the seat doesn't slide forward far enough to allow my wife's feet to comfortably push it.
So she will keep using the TT and I have this. I sold my Cav to get it but I was a bit bored with that anyway. The SLK is very different to anything I've ever had before and I find it a fun and comfortable car. Once the hoofing great hole in the inner wing was sorted, its actually very tidy for a Merc from their 'shit' era.
I did try and sell it but have just Sorned it and stuck it in my garage until the spring instead.

This Merc cabriolet I've got. Surprisingly charming old bus. The steering is lovely.
