paulplom wrote: Wed Apr 26, 2023 7:37 am How do you find your TT to park? I think the miorrors are crap and too small. Mine's often parked on the wonk and I usually straigten it up when I realise.
I don't find it too bad. Small enough to easily reverse in without too much hassle. Wing mirrors are a bit on the small side but I'm used to just looking out the back window and lining up with that anyway.
As I'm in the van 95% of the time I'm trained to just use mirrors when reversing. It has four electric mirrors which means reversing it is a total doddle. Look at the size of the lugs too!
Trained by who? #mrmagoo?

You don't use mirrors when you have parking sensors.

I could but I enjoy working on the Midget a lot more.
Which is the crux of the issue. I don't enjoy working on the Dolomite.

Looking at it right now, there is still a shed load to do from even what I can see. In this state I possibly won't get as much as that yellow one as people pay more for rust than half completed repairs. I'd hope to get at least 3k to 3.5k for it though.
I did warn you that it might be a tad rusty.

Might be the thrust bearing.

Thats like saying to a BMW 320d owner that it might shit its cam chain.

All Dolomites are flipping rusty!
When you were looking at it you said it seemed solid.

I pointed out the bubbles under the vinyl on the C pillars but you said it was fine.
