Re: Squire's voitures
You are a year out on my favourites. Got to be 1959 for me, but not a 59 Cadillac, those fins were just a bit too silly. Give me a 59 Buick Electra please

Re: Squire's voitures
The 1958 Cadillac looks too much like that year’s Chevrolet. 49 or 59, nothing in between.

Re: Squire's voitures
All the '58 B-body line was pretty generic as GM upsized the tri-Chevy and companion Buick into the one full-size platform, just basically nose-and-tailing the cars to differentiate the marque name. 1959/60 cars were similarly anodyne but somehow evolved better individual identities. I like the '58s but they are fussily styled and my preference would be for the clean 1960 lines, I reckon the Caddy fins of that year were the better for being a bit trimmed down...

Re: Squire's voitures
A standard '60 Coupe in white is as good as it gets. My ideal car collection would house at least 10 American cars.

- I scored very low on the autie test. I’m cheerful, happy, confident, like meeting new people, chatty and largely sociable. What the fuck am I doing on this forum?

Re: Squire's voitures
It's the Chevrolet that looks like the Cadillac, not the other way around.
