Just checking how you are both feeling today? I hope you aren't too sore.

It's true. Credit hire rates are fucking huge.
Aye I made a few quid back in the good old days on Astra G’s at the set rate. And a bonus few quid storing the wrecks and flogging them off whilst married to the former Mrs B who was a PI lawyer.

Less annoying tag line.

Bub keep a diary, make a note of how you feel each day, what meds you took, and also if someone is doing anything for you that you can’t just record the hours (Mrs Miggins making pies two hours a day, lawn care, that decorating job you’d started that now needs a pro to finish

Also record all journeys to GP/Chemists/Physio/Parking you name it.

If van is written off, make sure that you record fuel level and a tank full is a good percentage of its value and they pay out for it, if you still have it make sure you hold it until settlement figures are agreed.

Do you have any previous issues that have been exacerbated by this? Make a note and then when you eventually have a medical report done you can be clear and concise with them based on your contemporaneous notes.

Me and wife both have conditions. mine is physical disability and my wife has excessive spinal fluid pressure and on the brain which causes immense headaches and pain. Shes been in a bad way since accident and I'm watching her very closely. I'm in a fair bit of pain. I need to empty van out but I really can't at the moment.
A nice tidy enough van has gone up for sale local to me. What's the betting nothing will be for sale when Insurance have sorted things out! The van also isnt leaving my possession till I've got everything sorted and the figure it's worth either. As for fuel, the fuel gauge is playing away from home this week as per fecking usual!

I've sourced a replacement. A2003 citroen berlingo van. It's the 1.9dw8 engine with a touch over 66k on the clock and mot till october. Failed alternator but I've a friend who is breaking a hdi which we believe the alternator is the same. Just picked it up this evening thanks to someone who shall rename nameless for now assisting me till insurance pays out on the escort. Reason I've bought it is the prices are so high when something comes up relatively cheap, local and in good condition comes up I went for it. It's quite well specced for a van with electric windows,2 keys, remote locking etc. Pics to follow tomorrow as it's rather dark and cold!
