Re: Escort van. Farewell my friend.
I've gone without a replacement before, but I still bartered for a loss of use per day.

Re: Escort van. Farewell my friend.
And last time we had 1 we had to pay deposit upfront then wait 14 days to get it back.
Re: Escort van. Farewell my friend.
Shame about the van but maybe a little harsh on the fiesta driver,
very very few people set out to crash a car and from the pics this looks like the typical common accident that happens on roundabouts and junctions all the time, people roll up looking right and don't see the vehicle in front has stopped they see it clear to the right and gun it then bang, doesn't take a high speed to right a car or van of as they are designed to crumple to protect the occupants and it doesn't look like the airbags went of either so couldn't have been that fast,
Hope the insurance company pay out asap as they really can't not accept liability anyway, once your both feeling okay you can start hunting for its replacement, good luck.

Re: Escort van. Farewell my friend.
I'm already hunting for new motor. I'm being harsh towards her as she was riding my arse not far back up the road and had a phone in her hand when I got out and she was still sat in her car. Cant say she was using it,maybe about to ring her dad? Either way there was no need for driving too close earlier.

That damage is way more than creeping forwards. I'm pleased that you and Mrs Bub didn't suffer worse than you did but if the clueless bint was tailgating you, then had her phone in hand when she clambered out then that's all the evidence right there, no? I hope the book gets thrown at the dumb cunt.
