Re: Escort van. Farewell my friend.
Fucking hell Bub!
I'm pretty sure that you're the only TDW member who's had more bent metal than Uri Geller!
I'm another for suggesting that as long as you both are injured then take her insurance to the cleaners. She'll be claiming for her car and lose any NCB anyway.

Our insurers have said it wont affect the ncb on our part and are waiving the excess too. Had phone call from insurance solicitors too asking our issues. Feel like I've been run over tbh and wife is very sleepy.

Are you sure Mrs Bub is ok? She didn't bump her head did she or is the sleepiness shock and a result of taking something for her migraine.

Thankfully there was no internet upon which to peddle my shame during my first year or two on the road.....Warren t claim wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 7:15 pm Fucking hell Bub!

If you're going the blame claim route, and I don't blame you, you should be getting a courtesy van in the meantime.

FS Bub! That was more than creeping forward to cause that damage.
All the best with the claim.

Don't use a no-win, no fee outfit either. Use a 'proper' establishment, although they're all cunts.

Re: Escort van. Farewell my friend.
The insurers legal side are taking claim. They are going on a no win no fee because we dont have legal cover on insurance. We keep a minimum of 75% of the claim so that will be better than trying to find a lawyer who's willing to take their fees from the other side or finding non existent cash upfront.

We are making do with 1 car until we have the finances to replace the van. I dont fancy a courtesy vehicle as they can be con artists too.AutoshiteBoy wrote: ↑Fri Jan 22, 2021 8:21 pm If you're going the blame claim route, and I don't blame you, you should be getting a courtesy van in the meantime.
