Re: WReX Wagon
Thanks
Philadelphia airport was more deserted than I’ve ever seen before.
I’ve been here before and almost been squeezed off my feet in crowds before. Just waiting for the sales guy from the dealership to come by and pick us up now!
Only slightly less than 50miles to go!

Re: WReX Wagon
Just had a WILD ride.
Turns out that the sales guy is a retired cop. He was the police captain for some extended number of years and now retired works at the dealership.
Without doubt, we were the fastest thing on the road by at least 20mph.
We passed a cop car at one point like it was driving backwards!
Very comfy SUV and the young ‘uns eyes were like saucers in the back as we overtook on all sides of the road.
Weirdly it didn’t feel unsafe, like when your mate who’s 17 just got his license and is showing what his 998cc fiesta ‘can do’ down a dual carriage way.

Re: WReX Wagon
Got the little car and set the navigation for home.
We thought about going to Niagara Falls on the way home, but that would add an extra 400+ miles to the 1200 mile trip from Delaware to home.
The forecast is for snow in 12hrs so want to get a hustle on as the car has all season tyres rather than winters. There were some part worn winters with it but there was no way they were going to fit in the car.
It’s a brindian motor and I’ve said before I would never buy the first year of a car again, but I’ve done it again. (1st year of AWD).

Re: WReX Wagon
A street away and loaded the car with the local cuisine.
A box of 6 didn’t last long intact to two hungry travelers! We’ve got the full snow gear and warm stuff with us Incase we get stuck some where.
It was -14f in Minneapolis (-24 with wind chill). The guys at the donut shop couldn’t understand why we were walking around in T shirts in 33f weather. Tropical!!!

Re: WReX Wagon
Wow Pennsylvania is a long state! Ohio for the night.
A place near Cleveland.
We have listened to 3 Diary of a wimpy kid audiobooks from the local library. Not sure I can endure many more...
Tomorrow should see us through Chicago and beyond I hope. Ohio, Michigan, Illinois and into Wisconsin.
It should be daylight so I’ll take more pics.
