Is the upholstery good though?

If it was the upholsterer that took the seat out, I'd probably still use them but keep them away from the tools and sat at the sewing machine. If it was some other diddy before taking it there, then I take that back.
It's a one man band operation. I got it done 2 years ago, remember it as the nation was in lockdown the next day  the repair had held up till I sold it, the seat bolster had a fuck off rip/hole in it that really ruined the look of the interior.

The taped up connector worked well as a bodge for nearly two years, it would sometimes come on for a second or two randomly when driving but always went off. When I started to have the alternator issues, it came on permanently which prompted me to get rid of the thing.

Hmm, 2 years ago, as it's my own motor and just me driving it, I'm inclined just to sort the connector and leave the seat as is. I only noticed it because it was slid right back, exposing the broken fixing, looks like the MOT man may not....

Craig is 100% a trusted shiter, let's be clear I'm no complaining, the car was £350 with 6 months ticket!

It's been through two MOT's at different garages since it was "repaired"

Do you feel lucky punk?

Looked honkin before tbh.

I'll collect the bolts for it tomorrow but hopefully I'll get away with just fixing the connector as faffing with buggered fixings is something I do only on a strictly necessary basis.

Another actual occurrence today.

I had a lovely trip down to the Lakes today (apart from the tilting train on the way down making me feel sick!) too meet Jazoli and collect the Saab.

It drives perfectly, very quick and sorted. It's for my wife, who is also delighted with it. I'll be driving it some weekends too when we go out to places.

I need to get some wheel spacers for my red one now as the new one has them fitted and it gives the car a great sporty stance.

LANDLUBBER!

They hardly lean at all! Not a proper tilter like the APT.

How do you manage being a passenger, or driver for that matter, in a proper (pre-1986) car?
