Could be that as well as I was staying at the local Hilton at the time and we also had an open bar.

I only did 125 and that was farking quick enough. It wasn't anything organised just a work-mate had a Rotax and used to carry it about in a Sooty van to various circuits on a come-as-you-please basis. Think we went somewhere out near Castle Combe way, it was a long time ago now (hence the Sooty van).
Doing it on Sunday mornings usually involved battling a hangover and early start - not a great combination to thump into a tyre wall. It's amazing how much more circumspect one is about cornering speed and lift-off when there is no external bodywork other than your own....

I've done indoor petrol carts, it was a right laugh. I won every race I was in except the final. That was because I was trying to do a fastest lap every lap and over did it into a hairpin.

The latest refrigerant is as expensive as unicorn jizz.
And highly explosive. The manufacturers didn't want this change forced on them, but EU.....

I span out a few times in qualifying before the track was drying out. Violent af. The track was 1.2km and varied but you start to learn which bends you can take flat out. I was drifting on certain corners. The tyres were melting towards the end firing blobs into my visor. Everyone should give it a go. Great fun.

Its been years since I've been there. Good to see it wasn't closed down.

It fit in well at tescos earlier. I had a good look underneath too and it's spotless surprisingly.
