Totalcarcheck account is free and you can log into it up to 10 vehicles that it'll let you know when MOT and tax are up.

I checked it about a month ago on total car check and could swear it was the 27th of June. I looked today hoping to book a month early.

I did that on a tax disc back in the day. I changed the 1 for January into a 7 for July with tippex.
Bastard eagle eyed copper noticed the disc was out of date by the colour. Cunt.

Back in the day a smear of brake fluid removed the biro so you could rewrite the tax discs.

I think I was disqualified at the time so that was the least of my worries.

4.5 hour drive in the pug today so I gave it a wash outside and a hoover and clean inside yesterday. Washing it uncovered a nasty scab on the sill. I'm going to have to do something about that sooner rather than later. I'll get it on the ramps, grind it, treat it and lather it with red hammerite.
I'm pleased the mot tester didn't poke it with his pointer last month at mot time.

Keep it away from Sic and you'll be fine.
