Who knows . It was on fleet with a big facilities management firm though, so probably not anything *too* dodgy.DodgeRover wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 3:49 pmLooking for/ removing a tracker? Previous renter left a load of drugs stashed there?

A tracker is quite an expensive bit of kit so I should think that whoever owned it wants it back.

Our A4 had one from new as when my parents bought it second hand they had the option of reactivating it. I believe it was fitted as it was a "Managers" car at a dealer (so demo/courtesy car). Never did find where it lived but I certainly didn't remove it.Warren t claim wrote: ↑Thu Jan 20, 2022 10:09 pm A tracker is quite an expensive bit of kit so I should think that whoever owned it wants it back.
The Boxster had one too. I ripped it out as it was badly wired in and I didn't like the fact it was connected to the fuel pump relay amongst other things. Just knew it was going to fail at some point and cause weird electrical issues. Looking inside, it appeared that it used the pager network to activate it. So pretty much useless now.

I ripped out two cables stretching from the front of the van to down the bottom of the rear doors yesterday. One was a thick black cable, the other slimmer red one. They had already been chopped so fuck knows what they're off.
ISS facilities is the name of the company that owned it. You can see faded sitckerage on the sides of the van.

Just sold the citroen roof rack on fb. It was up for £200 no interest but someone offered £120 the other day so I accepted it. If he didn't turn up I was going to put it out for the scrap man. I'm sick of tripping over the fucker.
I got £80 for the transhit one last week.

Finished the first rack on the van earlier. I need to do two more but can't yet. My mate needs to take the plylining off to hammer/ pull the dents out. It's going in on the 31st.

Most of those should be fairly easy to get out with the modern tackle they have for pulling dints from the outside.
