Aircon sucks on ageing cars. The Focus still has functioning A/C but I was glad to see my late friend binned every component of the Chrysler system while he had the car. I'd sooner open a window, thankfully those still work OK....

The AC didn't work in my 1987 Dodge Caravan. Neither did the radio on odd numbers.mercrocker wrote: ↑Fri Jul 29, 2022 11:04 pm Aircon sucks on ageing cars. As a radio botherer, I can tell you that radio didn't work on even numbers because N. American and they do FM frequencies on digital tuners like 88.9, 89.1, 89.3 in 200kHz steps. They do AM in 10kHz steps in round tens though.

50 mile round trip for karting this morning. The car hadn't move for four months. Tyre pressures were all about 17psi so topped them up to 30. Oil is spotless. Even though he just did a couple of hundred miles a year he still had it serviced at every mot.
