Done 100 miles on it now. Had a trip through Newcastle city centre. Forgot to check if it's lez exempt ffs.
Had a bit of a scare near central station. Saw two scooter scum pillion up without helmets in my mirrors about three cars back. I was first at the traffic lights. They sped towards me and I thought ooh fuck here's away but they kept going through the red lights. No number plate or fuck all. I was hoping to see them wiped out but no joy unfortunately.

You need to get the underneath covered in waxoyl or bilt hamber if your gonna keep it.I had a 250 GTS that on top was mint but underneath was rusty as fuck

At the mot place now. There was a bloke came with a tyre and wheel to change after me and just as he started my test. I can here the fucker changing the tyre rather than do my bike. I wonder if he'll bother with the mot at all and just pass it anyway. He did briefly start the vespa for a second or two.
He's been on with the tyre 10 minutes now. I can hear him putting air in and the bead has just popped.

To be fair you can do a legit bike mot in 15 minutes

Pocket full of change or chain links and lob it at eye height if they come after you. A short Stanley Fubar will fit in your pocket 'for if you get a puncture'

Went to get the wheel off and the ugga dugga would only shift three off them. They were rusted in solid. Got the breaker bar out and bounced on it. Still no dice. Looked at the ugga again and it was only on setting two of three. Didn't even know it had settings so it must have been on that since I bought it. Speed three wizzed them off after a little rattle thank fuck.

Wheel off and checked the pads which still had plenty meat on. Strange.

Looked for the wear sensor. That explains it. It's been rubbing on some thing which has exposed the wires. Unplugged it and normal service is resumed.

Just remembered I've forgot to tape the plug up and cable tie it out of the way ffs.

Had that on the Synergie. Some clown hadn't routed the wires properly.

Old pads had plenty of meat left, but the wear wires had burnt though on the offside.

Bear in mind I've paid three times for a brake service. I had to cut my original cable ties to get the wheel trims off.
