£7,800 quid for a new car seems like a no brainer to me even if the Iranian at the car wash was adamant that mine was better quality with thicker metal used.

As long as it had improved seats. I had an 80 TD and it was arse numbing on a long journey to the point of being properly uncomfortable.

I had an 80 Sport (on a G plate) that was extremely comfortable due to its sports seats. Great car that was, looked better after I wore away my finger prints polishing the Speedline split rims.

Haven't got a single photo of it.
