The individual doors (windows actually) aren’t a problem - its the drivers door where it has switches for all 4 that’s the issue :)

I must’ve figured it out when I did my bodge up before, so I can do it again no doubt.

Its also going to be one of those daft things where the end result isn’t any better as the window motors are too weedy.

That's what I mean, do one door & link it to the driver's door. Then go to the next door & repeat.

Sorry - I see what you mean now.

Yeah, it'll be the same, just flip L and R on the diagram.

Those switches were worth getting, they do look nice.

Last Monday I had the day off and my mate came over to help me start the engine swap.

We er....didn't get a huge amount done. Today is round two in which I hope for more progress but doubt it somehow.
He is the opposite of me - I am a gung ho twat who keeps breaking stuff.
He is a proper retired engineer who prefers to do things slowly and methodically - what could go wrong?

Progress! We had a few moments that would have troubled the health and safety police in spite of both being quite risk averse, but no-one injured.

Now I just need to swap the transmission and few other bits and reverse the job.

Thanks

That's going to be a while off while I swap the transmission and some other bits and redo the remote filter hoses and stuff. I was pleased with progress yesterday though. Glad we settled on pulling the engine and box - it's more work in theory, but I can do less of it grovelling around under the car.

A lot of work and home jobs are backing up though so it'll be a while.

Pleased I found another AMC engine for it - some people put small block chevies or Mopar lumps in them. I have seen some excellent ones, but it's nice to keep it stock.
