Good luck with the auctions, if that's turning a profit on the Buick I would let it go before you get too far into it.

I was supposed to have a week off this week to get stuff done to the Fiat and the Buick but customers messed that up. 2 Bloody clutches this week on a Honda CRV (With a dual mass flywheel) and todays clutch was a Suzuki grand Vitara. Bloody 4 weel drive gearboxes are bastards to do on your own even with a ramp and transmission jacks. Having finished that off I had a delivery from the States turn up in the shape of new front springs for the Buick. I knew the ARB links were shagged so had them in stock. The angle grinder was the easiest way to get them off then the springs are quite straight forward. That is one side done I will tackle the other in the morning.

Latest round of auctions have started tonight so far £1000 on the hearse and £6500 on the Bentley. I have a feeling the Bentley is going to sell then I need to think of something else. The Citroen DS I was sniffing after has now been marked as sold which is a good thing as I really don't want to pay that sort of money for a DS that can be a whole world of pain. I have found a Salmson over in Belgium that is quite interesting

What are you expecting for the hearse?

I am not trying too hard to sell the hearse as I actually enjoy driving it for now which is why it has an 8k reserve. It is a difficult thing to value but I have done well with these auctions before so you never know.

Thank God for that. It would have been a shame for me to have it.

Rather than clog up the ebay thread I will add my latest daft idea to this thread. As it looks like the Bentley is off to a new home for decent money it was time to buy more tat. The last venture in the USA hasn't gone so well so I have been looking in the UK. My first ever restoration was a Jensen that had been off the road for 30 years so why not have another ? 541's and Interceptors are out of my price range now and having owned both already I thought maybe it was time to try a Jensen Healey. A quick search of ebay found a GT the shooting break version that was built for a few years right at the end of the original Jensen production. I went and had a look at it and it was rougher than I hoped but due to the Bentley making strong money I sent the seller a low ball offer and he has accepted it. Now all I need to do is pay for it and find somewhere to put it for a week or two. I will have to speak to the guy from the council and see if they still have any lock ups available so I can hide a car or two.
