I had a proper look round the old Buick today and hopefully it is just some patching to the floors and a new wiring loom and it will be good to go. So far I have only driven it up the yard and it seems ok.

Not sure I like it, bit doesn't look in too bad condition.

You do pick well. Ignore the monkey boy, he knows nothing. That’s pretty cool. Nice one.

I think a hunter once drove one in one of the Tarzan films so it probably brings back bad memories.

That looks great-lovely shape. Hopefully the rust isn't any more extensive than that. Seen worse in cars 10 years old (but not here in Spain).

Looks great, have you considered fitting a VW power train yet?
Hopefully the rust isn't too extensive, just wrong of the seller not to mention it.

Had a play with the Fiat today and I don't think there is much wrong with the engine. The clutch is a bit sticky though but should just be a sticking pedal or cable as it doesn't feel great.

Lets see if the you tube link works now or does monkey boy need to sort it still.

You rich foreigners with your strong pound, coming over here and taking our great cars and women…

That’s lovely, if you find it looks out of place in your local Tescos carpark, send it back once you have fixed it - such stylish looks. You have great taste in cars - (mostly; hearses aren’t really my thing!) It would look amazing at my local drive-in!

Link works fine. The engine sounds sweet as a nut.

That sounds like it'll be happy at the redline, idles better than a lot of that engine I've heard.

Beurrrick looks pretty good tbh, those rotted badly, post Korean-war steel. No inspection required on either of those vehicles in most states, when registered as antique.
