I seem to of done something stupid yet again

I am hoping that a drive round the block a few times will get it to free off. It is the Vauxhall based Lotus 907 lump with a 16 valve head. I am organising the welding to the sills next week and just need to wait for the new fuel tank and it should be back on the road. In other news my Lancia has been collected down in Marseilles so it should be on the way.

We had a really mint one of those through Chesterfield Motor Auctions back in the day, cream with a green draylon type interior, one owner and low miles, nice to drive as well from memory.

Subsequently got another mega cheap as it was stuck in reverse...

Yeah it is pretty well written and the comment about his last timewaster is pretty apt. If I didn't have so many cars here I would probably have a go at it, but the Lancia has a slightly more interesting V4. Anyway enough of cars I have no room for and back to this afternoons little job. So far this week has all been mot's and if they pass it is a quiet day but if they fail it could take all day to sort so I tend to just take 1 mot a day on. Today's passed and even with managing to get a service out of it as well I ended up with spare time this afternoon. The Jensen needs to be driven to free the clutch off and it is just too busy round here on a week day to do that so I decided to fit the extremely expensive GT badges to the hearse. They are copies of the originals but very poor quality for the 50 quid they cost plus tax and post from Spain.

Easy enough so I had a look at a few other bits for a start the lamp for the SP (serviso publico) badge didn't work so a new bulb in there.

Then I had a look at the front foglights. A relay had failed there and I can now be a proper "meathead foglight wanker"

I’m sure I’ve mentioned before what an annoying cunt I must have been when I used to drive “ my “ Granada around on sidelights and fogs, then flashing main beam and spotlights which switched off the fogs. Creating a up-down wigwag effect. Cleared the fast Lane on the M1 a treat, that and the fact I drove it everywhere foot to the floor , brand new Mk2 Granada with a young bloke in a white shirt. My boss loved it , even if everybody else hated us. Never got stopped either.

American rules. You aren't allowed fogs to be on with the brights, not even when you flash the lights.
