This is now for auction at Evoke Classics - starting bid 500 sheets and reserve well below what I was asking on rods n sods - just in case anyone on here fancies a crack at it.

Auction ends today and it's at £2k. I have mixed feelings - I don't really want to let go of it but I have to face reality that I will never get it done. Hopefully by using this outfit I will avoid the worst excesses of eBay's "my cat bid on it" although the other week some cunt told Matthewsons their dog had bid on something online.

Is that a fair price for it ? What are they charging for selling it. I really should make an effort to sell the lancia and eBay just seems to of gone down the pan now with poor selling prices and still loads of time wasters.

Is that a hammer auction? Or online only?
I'd worry an online only auction from a small company on someone like that wouldn't get many eyes on it. I certainly hadn't heard of them and I'm sure many others won't either.

Been pondering about putting back together and offloading the Dolomite. Fed up of pretty much everything associated with cars now.

It's online only - and it's sold for £2100. I really have no idea if it's a fair price, but I needed to move it on. I got zero interest from rods n sods or from the bloke who was dead keen to buy it when it wasn't for sale - he didn't even have the decency to reply to my e-mail the cunt.

Charges are 4.5% + VAT with a minimum charge of £350 + VAT.

They collect the payments and no sale no fee.

So far I am happy - I will be even happier if I get paid.

I thought (hoped) it might fetch more but it's the usual story - anything I have is worth fuck all and anything I want is top dollar.

II can certainly guarantee about 85% of Yank motors on ebay aren't selling for the advertised prices.

At least I haven't lost money on it.

Good job you haven't made a profit.
It's bad enough having a rapacious member like FOAD on here without having another one.

aggressively greedy or grasping.

Given that I don't understand a lot of the words you use I thought that I'd make an attempt at teaching you English rather than you using Geordie.
