When I bought the transhit about four or five years ago Arnold Shark had a fiesta on display in the showroom. It had black wheel arches and was jacked up a bit. £23k!! For a fucking fiesta.

You've not been able to order a Fiesta for a while now. With the Fiesta and the Focus production ending and with the Mondeo already gone, is this the end of Ford Europe making passenger cars here?

Yeah, we're going to have to do some serious thinking when the Roomster and the Citigo need replacing. We'll need 2x something new(ish) and reliable as my missus and eldest son just expect it to work and that's it.

It was bad enough when the Roomsters brake master cylinder failed in Norwich earlier this year, despite being problem free until then, as they lost confidence in it for a while.

If only they'd make a simple small car that seats four? something like a Mk1 Fiesta?

I don't think that they can due to things like NCAP and emission rules. Maybe something between the new AMI and a proper car, that'd probably suit us as a local runabout?
It'll never happen for a host of reasons though.
