I used the M62 the other night, 10.30 ish.

I was sat at 70-75 in the left hand lane, constant speed, undertaking the cars in the other three lanes. Fucking idiots. Occasionally I'd pull into the second lane to overtake a lorry, then pull back in again.

Increasing the speed limit would be madness. Brits just cannot drive for shit.

I find that regular too. I often put my left indicator on when I pass them but they're all fucking oblivious.

It always has been an offence of careless driving or something. What changed 2013 was that they could dish out a fixed penalty for it (£100/3pts) instead of packing them off to court, but some forces go soft on first timers and give them a course.

I approach in the inside lane, indicate right pull behind them, the overtake them in the outside. Indicate left, pull into the middle, then back into the inside lane.
Yet still they amble along without a care in the middle lane!

Many years ago I was on my way home at about 3 in the morning on a very empty 4 lane motorway. I was in lane one when I undertook a twat in lane 4. He still didn't move in after I passed him doing 140+. Some people just can't drive in this country. Lane hogging is almost unheard of in Europe although it has got a bit more common in France in the last 20 years.
