It turns out, I couldn't order a new front flexi on its own so I've had to order a new pipe, cat and flexi. I was expecting a proper Purple Aki style arse raping but the unit only costs £74. Don't get me wrong, I'd have preferred to pay £20 for just the flexi but I can't grumble too much about the whole cost. After looking at it on the ramp everything seems suspiciously easily accessible so I should be able to do the swap in 30 minutes. Compared to other exhaust swaps I've done I could write poetry on how much room I've got to spin the spanners.

Fingers crossed that the part arrives tomorrow.

PS. The £74 is based on me returning my existing cat back to the supplier.

Universal flexis, from my experience, are universally complete shit, though.

For the extra cost I'd rather bolt in a proper section of exhaust instead of fannying about with paste and clamps etc.

You also have to remember that of all the jobs on a car, exhausts are always a bastard. Even with proper parts.

That's absolute bollocks.

I had no problem whatsoever fitting the two fucking expensive genuine Honda Yutaka exhaust sections to the Jizz. Perfect fit and done on the drive, not with a poncey lift.
