Picassos are reliable, practical cars. They handle well too, in a French way. Not pretty I admit, but they do their job well. Acceptable transport, unless you have a micropenis and want to try to make up for it somehow.

I have a softspot for the old xsara picasso, only this and a hateful e class merc were wide enough for 2 rock a tots and one full sized car seat. My twins were born when my oldest was 2 years old you see. Chaotic 2 decades but still

This is (allegedly) a forum for car enthusiasts. And the only positive things people can say about Pickarseholes is that they're cheap, they do their job in a largely unremarkable way & you can cram lots of kids into them.

Never mind the fact that they just scream "Given up on life" or "The missus made me buy it" to the world at large, those things are REALLY ugly. And they've got those nasty spacky happy-clappy wipers, which really anger me for some reason whenever I see them.

But cars don't have to be posh to be good - I'd choose my Calibra or an early Disco over my Maserati every time, they're much better all-round cars.

Picassos are not only a very useful car (isn't that what cars are supposed to be?) They are also honest. Not trying to be anything they are not. Like a Cavalier pretending to be a sports car for instance.
I had a mk1 Scenic turbo diesel for ages, great car for what it was intended. It went well and handled better than expected too. It enabled me to use it as a van and family transport and I really liked it. Obviously I also had various classic cars to play with too but what's the best car in the world? S Class Merc? Bugatti? Shite, the pair of them. They can't do half the things a Picasso will.

Would take a Vauxhall Omega estate over a Picasso every day in the practically stakes, you can also fit 3 kids seats in the back of those too.
I image Vauxhall electrical reliability is on par with French...
